Patrícia Pölzl (São Paulo, Brazil) is an interdisciplinary artist, with a bachelor's degree in Visual Arts from Unicamp. She also studied Set design and Costume Design at SP Escola de Teatro in São Paulo.
Her areas of research and work are mainly related to the fields of alternative photography, set design and multimedia, always relating technology, spatiality and art. In photography, she has given classes and workshops since 2017 on the photographic technique of Chlorophyll Print, won international awards and competitive exhibitions with his photographic works, highlighting the honorable mention award by the Mexican magazine Visor, at the “Convocatoria Mujeres Fotógrafas de Latinoamérica” in 2017.
As a set design, art director and multimedia artist, part of her projects are the play “Migraaantes” directed by Rodrigo Spina by the Institute of Performing Arts at Unicamp, 2019; the Paula Lins's recital "Faltando um pedaço", 2021; and the play “Origens” directed by Marcelo Lazzaratto, 2021. In addition to the sets, the artist works with video mapping, audiovisual performances in real time and works in new media and net-art such as the work “Desvios”, 2020.
Patricia also loves art education, masks, puppets and Paper Mache creatures.
